Party of 7 people. 1 waiter in the entire restaurant. $271.45 later with $45 "gratitude " added fee and $2.50 per can of pop. The manager and the waiter had the audacity to ask him a tip. Highway robbery! Dude kept mixing up orders, had to keep asking for refills of water. Never coming back again! Even during the month of Ramadan how yall charging $2.50 for a pop and sneaking in a $45 gratitude and then asking for more tip?
Been coming since 2003-04. We tried the whole menu by now. Id say, the authencity in food, the taste, freshness, over the years, is still the same since day 1. Atleast all our family including 3 generations have eaten here and we still find time to eat here again! By the way , we are from Michigan and coming to Chicago is not a complete trip if not eaten here. Dont mind their simple setup, dont mind if the fixture looks outdated, it truly is the food and its real pakistani taste that other fancy restaurants on devon couldn't offer! Kindly try their juicy BBQ or rightly done Bhindi. It is simply one of the best pakistani food you can ask for!
I had an excellent experience at this authentic Indian/Pakistani restaurant! The chicken boti was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The chicken frontier wrap was equally delicious, offering a perfect balance of spices and freshness. To top it off, the authentic chai tea was rich, fragrant, and the ideal way to end the meal. Overall, highly recommend visiting if in Chicago!
This is the most fresh bbq. So delicious and simple, perfectly seasoned. Chai was proper Pakistani chai, with a little saffron at the end. Roti was so amazing. Staff came multiple times to ask if we needed anything, boxed food up, incredibly nice. Even had somph!
The food was so delicious. The chefs are truly skilled at cooking.
The food was excellent with so many flavors, the chicken we had was spicy but I’m sure you can ask for it without the spicy sauce. The lentils and spinach were so tasty and it was the best naan I’ve had anywhere. The waiter was kind and helpful with helping us pick our dishes. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and clean. Bring the family or friends.
We got tandoori chicken, malai boti, chicken biryani, beef chapli kabob, chicken seekh, daal fry, qeema and aloo paratha with garlic naan. Overall good food and it was made fresh. Daal fry was by far the most delicious from what we had, followed by aloo paratha and chicken biryani. I was hoping the grill items would be great but there were OK. Chapli kabob was dry and a bit overcooked. How about some butter on that garlic naan! Overall good service and experience and we will be going back. The place can use some renovations.
